Volunteer FAQs

  • You can expect this from your 3 hour volunteering session:

    • Overview of space

    • Learn about our process

    • Sort, organize, and put out donations

    • Shop for art supplies for yourself!

  • Sign up for a slot here.

  • We release volunteer slots monthly. Please sign up for our newsletter to be informed when new dates will be released.

  • Please email volunteers@brooklyncreativereuse.org

  • Yes! You can take home 1 tote bag’s worth of free art supplies as a thank you from us!

  • Comfortable clothes and shoes that may get a little dirty. We have gloves and masks available if needed.

    • There is a bathroom on our floor, as well as a slop sink

    • We have water available

  • Yes! Here is the liability form.

  • Volunteers must be 18 or accompanied by an adult. The adult will need to fill out a liability form for themselves and for the child.
